Good to know

  • Race times may start later than listed, but not earlier.
  • 8 & Under age is figured as of 12/31/2026. Runners age 6 and under can compete at this championship, and at regionals if they qualify. Runners must turn 7 by 12/31/2026 to move on to nationals.
  • The top 30 individuals and top 5 teams in each age group advance to the Region 15 Championships on Sunday, November 22 at Kit Carson Park in Escondido.
  • Awards: USATF Junior Olympic ribbons and medals for the top 15 individuals in each age division, and team awards for the top 3 teams in each division.
  • After the course walk, spectators, including parents and coaches, must stay out of the coned-off parts of the course. No pacing athletes or spraying water on them. Interfering with start or finish line officials results in ejection.
  • Bibs are worn chest-high on the front of the jersey. Please don't pin the bottom of the bib so it tears off easily in the chute.
  • Championship T-shirts and sweatshirts are sold at the meet.
  • No dogs are permitted. Please help keep the site clean.
  • Sanctioned by USATF.
